Kenzie Holzinger (Kenz) is a graduate of Thomas Edison State University (TESU), where she obtained a 4.0 BA in Art, and of Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville (SIUE) with a BFA focused in drawing. Her primary focus is in Drawing, but explores other mediums such as oil painting. Growing up in the outdoors, much of Kenz’s work focuses on the depiction of nature and its relation to society’s touch. Kenz is a dancer, which influences her love of depicting the human figure and rendering ideas of movement amongst these topics. Dance is a powerful catalyst in Kenz’s work and often aids in her concepts. She believes that there is freedom and balance in dance, the same qualities she finds in art.
